Saint-Étienne handed him a debut in September 2019, when he was 17, and the record came with it: no younger goalkeeper had started a Ligue 1 match for the club. He had been in the academy since the age of six, so the step up was made in front of people who had watched him grow into it.

That season and the one before it brought the two titles on his record. In 2018 he was part of the Saint-Étienne B side that won the Championnat National 3; in 2019 the club's under-19s took the Coupe Gambardella. France called him up through the youth ranks in the same period — the 2019 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, then the under-23 squad for the 2020 Olympic Games, where he was the third-choice goalkeeper. He has one cap at under-21 level and no senior appearance for either France or Serbia, the country of his family's descent.

The senior career since has moved on free transfers. He left Saint-Étienne in February 2022 for Pau FC, then joined Bristol City in July of the same year. In January 2023 he was loaned to Valenciennes FC for the rest of the season, playing 11 matches there.

He stayed with Bristol City until 2025. In June 2026 he moved to Germany, signing for Alemannia Aachen on another free transfer.
