About the player
Promotion has followed him around. At Kırşehir Belediyespor he was part of a 3. Lig championship side in 2018–19, then joined Kocaelispor and won the 3. Lig again in 2019–20.
The grounding came earlier, and at a very different level. He entered the Fenerbahçe academy in 2005 and stayed nine years, moving up through the U14, U15, U16, Elite U17 and Elite U18 sides and into the U21 team. In 2014 he was listed as a Turkey U19 international; available records do not set out how many appearances that amounted to. No senior call-up has followed.
He began his professional career at Fatih Karagümrük in 2015 and spent the second half of that season on loan at Tarsus İdman Yurdu, then dropped to the 3. Lig with Pazarspor for two years. The route back up ran through Ankara Keçiörengücü, whom he joined in the 2021–22 winter window and stayed with in the 1. Lig through 2022–23, and Bandırmaspor, also in the 1. Lig, for the 2023–24 season.
