Valentín Nicolás Adamo Reyes

The one goal Valentín Adamo scored for Boston River came against Peñarol. It arrived during a 2025 loan spell in which the Uruguayan forward played 17 league matches and another six in cup competition, including the Copa Libertadores.

He joined the academy at River Plate in Montevideo in 2015, aged 13, and made his professional debut for the club's first team on 10 June 2022. That first season brought eight league appearances and two goals — enough for Brazilian side Botafogo to pay €280,000 for him in the summer of 2023. It remains the only official transfer fee recorded in his career.

Botafogo, though, has been more a base than a home. Adamo made just four appearances for the first team, in 2025, without scoring. The rest of his time under contract there has been spent elsewhere. In January 2024 he moved to Unión Española in Chile, where he played 21 matches and scored three times in the league.

In September 2025 he was loaned to RWDM Brussels, part of the multi-club network run by John Textor. In the Challenger Pro League, Belgium's second division, he made 15 appearances and scored twice.

His most recent move took him to Venezuela and Deportivo Táchira in 2026. Four matches in, he has one assist and no goals. He has not been called up by Uruguay at youth or senior level, and no individual honours appear in the public record.
