About the player
Victor Wernersson was born in Malmö and has built his career as a central defender, occasionally used further forward in midfield. Before joining Västerås SK, he spent time in the Netherlands with NAC Breda, leaving the club in 2024.
He signed for Västerås as a free agent in the summer of 2024, wearing squad number 21. His first season at the club saw him make appearances in Allsvenskan, Sweden's top flight. By the following season he was playing in Superettan, the country's second tier.
Wernersson's contract with the club runs into 2026. His versatility, capable of shifting between defensive and midfield duties, has made him a useful option.
