Wilfrido De La Rosa Mendoza

Football took Wilfrido de la Rosa Mendoza through eight Colombian clubs before Jaguares, a path that has run through Deportes Tolima, Deportivo Pasto, Envigado, Deportivo Pereira, Independiente Santa Fe, Atlético Huila, Águilas Doradas and Real Cartagena. A right-footed winger built for the flank at just 167cm, he wears the number 7 shirt at Jaguares for the 2025/2026 campaign, the latest stop in a career built on movement rather than a single defining transfer.

His run through Colombian football has rarely stayed still for long, with spells at Pasto alone split into two separate stints either side of a season at Envigado. That pattern of returning to familiar ground while testing new ones has defined the shape of his career more than any one club.

He has found the net at the top level too. Against Boyacá Chicó in 2026, De la Rosa struck in the 11th minute, the kind of early goal that settles a winger into a game and gives a side the platform to control it from the front.

Now in Córdoba colours, he arrives at Jaguares with a career's worth of experience across some of Colombia's most established sides, still working the same channel that has carried him from Tolima to the present.
