About the player
Walace is a defensive midfielder who spent time in German football before returning to Brazil. He joined Udinese in July 2024 for a fee of eight million euros, following spells at Hamburg and Hannover 96, and later moved to Cruzeiro.
In early 2026 he was loaned out by Cruzeiro to Vitória da Bahia for the remainder of the season, wearing the number 15 shirt at his new club. Under the terms of the loan, Vitória covers half of his salary while Cruzeiro continues to pay the other half.
