About the player
Tian Yinong's career has been a tour of Chinese football's shifting map, shaped as much by clubs dissolving beneath him as by his own moves. He began in the Liaoning FC youth system before starting his senior career on loan at Panjin Mengzun, then moved to Fushun Xinye. At Shenyang Zhongze he made 31 appearances and scored once, but when that club folded he joined Shenyang City instead. The pattern repeated years later: after Jiangsu Suning dissolved, he found a free transfer to Wuhan FC.
His most significant stop came at Yanbian Funde, where he played in the Chinese Super League and scored one goal in 27 matches, and then at Jiangsu Suning, where he was part of the squad that won the 2020 Chinese Super League title. He later spent time at Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, making 53 appearances and scoring once, before a free transfer to Shenzhen Peng City brought him 23 appearances.
In January 2025, Tian returned to his home province, signing with Liaoning Tieren on a free transfer. The move carried a personal note beyond the transfer itself: he was born in Chaoyang, in that same province. Liaoning Tieren were promoted to the Chinese Super League in 2025, giving him another season at the top level.
Tian has been associated with the China under-22 national team, though he has not earned senior caps for the national side. He has settled mainly into midfield roles, moving between clubs in China's top two divisions as circumstances, rather than always his own choice, dictated.
