Mincheng Yuan

Yuan Mincheng has rarely stayed at one club for long, moving through the Chinese football pyramid on a string of free transfers before arriving at Shenyang Urban. He started out in Yanbian FC's youth setup, before turning professional at Guangxi Longguida in 2015. A year later he followed the club's league position to Nantong Zhiyun.

His longest and most productive spell came at Chongqing Lifan, where between 2017 and 2020 he established himself as a regular starter, making 65 league appearances and scoring four goals from central defence. He carried that experience to Shenzhen FC, adding 51 matches and three goals over two seasons, then moved on to Changchun Yatai for the 2023–2024 period.

In 2025 he joined Chengdu Rongcheng, contributing two goals in 24 matches, before his most recent switch: a transfer to Liaoning Tieren, completed on 26 February 2026 for a fee of €245,000. The club has since been rebranded as Shenyang Urban following its promotion into the Chinese Super League for the 2026 season. Yuan has made 14 appearances there so far without scoring, wearing the number 26 shirt.

Despite a long and steady club career, Yuan has not been capped by the Chinese national team at any level, senior or youth. He has said in interviews that he would like to earn a call-up.
