Zalewski holds dual Canadian and Polish citizenship and has represented Poland rather than Canada at international level, appearing for the under-16 and under-17 sides. By mid-2026 he had scored twice in eleven matches for the U16s and four times in eleven for the U17s; he has yet to be called up to the senior national team.
