About the player
Zang Yifeng came through the Shenzhen Yantian Sports School before moving into the Hangzhou Greentown academy, and his senior football began away from the parent club, on loan at Wenzhou Provenza, where he scored seven goals in 17 appearances. That return set up six seasons back at Hangzhou Greentown, where he made 61 appearances and scored six goals.
A free transfer took him to Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in February 2019, a club that later became Cangzhou Mighty Lions. He played 61 matches and scored nine goals across those years. The next move, in 2023, brought his most productive spell in front of goal: ten goals in 38 appearances for Yunnan Yukun, a return that helped the club to the China League One title in 2024.
In January 2025, on another free transfer, Zang joined Liaoning Tieren, the club formerly known as Shenyang Urban, and he ended the season with a second consecutive China League One title, this time with his new side.
