Third place in League C, Group 1 of the UEFA Women's Nations League in the 2023-24 season is the best Andorra have managed, earned from six matches with one win, one draw and four defeats, and a goal difference that read 2-17.

Andorra's women took the field for the first time in July 2014, at the UEFA Women's Development Tournament in Gibraltar, where they beat the hosts 1-0. Their first recognised international came the following April, a 3-5 defeat to Malta. Between those two results and the Gibraltar win nine years later sits a long run without a competitive victory, broken only by a 4-2 friendly win over Liechtenstein in December 2021.

They have never reached the FIFA Women's World Cup or the UEFA Women's Championship. Teresa Morató holds both the appearance and scoring records, with 19 caps and 9 goals.

The team plays at the Estadi Nacional in Andorra la Vella, opened in September 2014 and standing 1,023 metres above sea level, the highest national stadium in Europe. Its surface was artificial turf until a hybrid pitch replaced it in 2022. The shirt carries red, blue and yellow, the colours of the Andorran flag, which gives the side its nickname, les tricolors.
