«Elephant»
The Estádio Conde Rodolfo Crespi has stood in Capela do Socorro since 1929, and its old date is often mistaken for the club's own: Barcelona Esportivo Capela did not exist when the ground opened and only took the name decades later, drawing on the ground's local nickname, Capelão.
That tenant arrived on 20 January 2004, when a group in the district set up a club modelled on FC Barcelona while also folding in Sociedade Esportiva Barcelona, an amateur side that had played locally since 1999.
Its clearest claim to attention has nothing to do with silverware: Diego Costa started out there before his career took him to Spain's national team. On the pitch, the closest thing to a trophy in the club's own colours is the Campeão Universal, a minor title picked up in 2010.
A first Campeonato Paulista honour has still to arrive.
