Celaya 2

Since at least the 2016-17 season the side has taken its place in the Liga Premier Serie B, wearing the parent club's development role as reserve to Celaya FC, founded in 1954.

Celaya II won Group 2 with 29 points, then reached the final of the Liga de Nuevos Talentos, where Correcaminos "B" took the trophy on penalties after the two sides finished level at 3-3 over two legs.

The team plays under the same black and white as the first team, usually a black shirt cut through with a white stripe, and answers to the same nicknames, Los Toros and Los Cajeteros. Matches are shared with the senior side at the Estadio Miguel Alemán Valdés.
