Huracanes Izcalli

Cuautitlán Izcalli sits in the State of Mexico, but the club that carries its name plays out of San Pedro Actopan, in the Milpa Alta borough of Mexico City — the side was put together with a single aim: get into the Segunda División de México. The league accepted the application on 30 July that year, and Huracanes Izcalli have stayed in what is now called Liga Premier Serie B ever since.

Alan Roberto Flores scored the goal that started it all, against Guerreros de Xico on 26 September 2021. In Clausura 2022 they reached the playoff final phase before Alebrijes de Oaxaca Premier stopped them in the semifinals; a year later they went out again, this time in the reclassification stage against Pioneros de Cancún.

Eduardo Terroba owns the club, and Román Reyes has run the team from the touchline. Home games are played at the Estadio Momoxco, which holds 3,500.

Nothing yet separates Huracanes Izcalli from the crowd of Serie B clubs chasing promotion: no title, no cup, no rival fixture that draws a bigger gate than usual.
