Ciervos

Estadio Arreola holds a little over 3,000 people. Ciervos share the ground with San José del Arenal.

The team did not start under this name. In July 2017 the club grew out of a rebrand of Vikingos de Chalco, whose management chose to change the crest, the colours and the identity altogether. A year later the change was made official as Club de Ciervos F.C. In May 2021 an attempt to rename the club "Chalco Fútbol Club" went ahead without the Mexican Football Federation's recognition, and the name Ciervos simply stayed.

Supporters call the team Los Chalcompas, after the people of Chalco de Díaz Covarrubias itself, and the shirt has kept to red and white — red sleeves and shorts over a white body at home, white alone on the road. Under the Vikingos name, the club had already won the Tercera División de México in the 2012–13 season, and by 2016 it was invited into the Liga de Nuevos Talentos of the Segunda División, its first step up. It plays now in the Liga Premier, across Serie A and Serie B, without having reached the league title or a place in the Liga de Expansión MX.

The player most remembered here is Rodrigo Alain Cuevas. In 2021 an electrical shock cost him his left foot, and the injury reached well beyond Chalco — Pachuca sent him a shirt in support.
