Colombia U19

James Rodríguez, Radamel Falcao, Juan Cuadrado and, more recently, Luis Díaz all wore the yellow, blue and red.

The Colombian Football Federation, founded on 12 October 1924 as the Liga de Football Atlántico and based in Bogotá, runs the age-group setup that feeds this team, known as La Tricolor. It trains at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento in Bogotá and has no single home ground, moving instead between the Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campín in the capital, the Atanasio Girardot in Medellín and the Metropolitano in Barranquilla.

Its record sits under the South American U-20 Championship, the category the old U19 tournament became in 1977, and the honours read: continental titles in 1987, 2005 and 2013, plus three wins at the Maurice Revello Tournament. The side finished third in 2003 and matched that in 2025. Argentina has been the team most often standing in the way — a 1-0 semi-final defeat in 2023 was the latest instalment.
