Youth football in Vitória da Conquista runs through the academy of Conquista Futebol Clube, and the U20 side carries that senior club's colours, blue and white, into two competitions: the Baiano U20 and the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. The senior club itself dates to January 1978, and the Bravo Alvianil nickname belongs to that first team rather than to the age-group side that draws on it.

The U20s took the Campeonato Baiano Sub-20 in 2015, the one title in the record that belongs to this group of players rather than to the seniors above them.

Matches are played at Estádio Edvaldo Flores, a ground that holds 1,000 people.
