Barcelona BA U20

The club took shape on 17 September 2019 and gained its regional federation affiliation five weeks later, becoming the first "clube empresa" in the south of the state — a corporate ownership model still uncommon among Bahia's smaller sides at the time.

The one title on the club's shelf came in 2021, when it beat Botafogo Bonfinense in the final to lift the Campeonato Baiano Série B.

Whether the move to Una goes ahead or the dispute with the city hall gets settled, the club's professional side remains tied to the question that shaped it from the start: where in southern Bahia it is actually meant to play.
