Grapiuna U20

Every meeting with Itabuna Esporte Clube in Itabuna gets its own name, the Clássico Grapiúna. The senior side these young players feed into has never lifted a first-team trophy, finishing runner-up in the Campeonato Baiano Série B in 1996 and again in 2001, and the U20 side has carried on that pattern in the Campeonato Baiano Sub-20 without a title of its own to show for it.

The colours are yellow and black, amarelo e preto, which gives the club its nickname of Aurinegro Baiano. Home games are played at the Estádio Luiz Viana Filho, known locally as Itabunão.

The club the academy belongs to did not start out under its current name. It was founded on 11 March 1996 as Itabuna Atlético Clube, and only became Grapiúna Atlético Clube in 2000.
