Dinamo Vladivostok

Vladivostok grew up around its port and its fleet. Football here has long worn the colours of Dynamo, and the local club took that name when it first appeared no later than 1944.

The Soviet decades gave the team its real substance. Between 1958 and 1966 Dynamo won the Primorsky Krai championship seven times and stacked up nine regional cup wins between 1953 and 1968. The closest the club came to a wider stage was in 1957, finishing second in Class B's Far Eastern zone and reaching the Soviet Cup final in the Siberia and Far East zone. In 1965 it added the RSFSR Zonal Cup for amateur sides.

In 2024 Dynamo won its group in Russia's Second League, and the same year reached the last 32 of the Russian Cup after beating Dynamo-Barnaul, with Sergei Kramarenko converting the winning penalty. Nikita Sergeev has become the player most associated with this new era, while Alexei Baev has done the scoring, with 33 league goals to his name.

Home games are played at the Dynamo stadium, reduced to 8,948 seats after a 2023 rebuild from a capacity that once ran past 10,000. It is a history that started with the same name on the same stadium, decades before either derby meant anything at all.
