Hudson Valley Crusaders

Nine goals without reply against KMSA settled the 2023 Northeast Conference final and sent Hudson Valley Crusaders up from UWS League Two into League One — the only trophy the club has won, and it arrived within two years of the team taking the field at all.

That debut season was 2021, semi-professional and built around women's football across the Hudson Valley rather than any single town: home games started at a base near SUNY New Paltz, moved to Saugerties, and from 2025 settled at Kaplan Field on the Mount Saint Mary College campus in Newburgh, a ground that holds 1,000. Red and white were the colours from that opening year.

The 2023 title carried the Crusaders into the UWS top flight, and in 2026 they followed the league itself into a new one, joining the USL W League's Northeast Division. They finished the season on a 6-2-2 record, second behind Vermont Green FC and short of the playoffs. Goalkeeper Perri Anderson, who had already featured in the 2023 run, plays on in a squad that also includes Joy Okonye and Abigail Danso.

Hartford Athletic have called Hudson Valley their rival in match reports out of the new division, with Vermont Green FC, AC Connecticut Women and New England Mutiny Women filling out the rest of a schedule that has not yet produced a rivalry with a name of its own.
