The Malawi Defence Force keeps a football team in Lilongwe, and Kamuzu Barracks is it.
The club plays in the TNM Super League and won it in 2016.
Three years earlier came the Carlsberg Cup, and the final carried its own weight: Kamuzu Barracks beat Moyale Barracks, one army side against another. Harvey Nkacha scored the goal that settled it.
2017 brought two more cups, the FISD Challenge Cup and the FAM Cup, along with a losing appearance in the Charity Shield final.
Home matches are played at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe, though in 2022 the team turned out at Champion Stadium instead. The shirts are yellow, with black on the sleeves.
Dave Banda arrived in 2013 from South African football, where he had played for Black Leopards.
