Lokomotiv Kuban 2

Kirill Temirov captained this side to its one VTB United Youth League title in 2022/2023, beating MBA-2 70:46 in the final, and within months was playing for the senior Lokomotiv Kuban roster.

That youth title arrived alongside a Youth Super Cup win the same year, and a further trophy followed in 2024 at the tournament in memory of AO "IEMZ Kupol." Earlier sides had come close without getting there: runners-up in the Youth League in 2016/2017 and 2017/2018, third place in 2020/2021 and again in 2023/2024. CSKA-Junior has been the team to measure itself against, the two having met in a Final Eight final in 2021; MBA-2 took that role in 2023.

Games are played at Basket-Hall Krasnodar, in front of a capacity of 7,500.
