The final of the Ukrainian Amateur Cup in the 2025–26 season ended 2–0 against Mayak Sarny, and with it a club earned the right to play professional football. Avanhard were promoted to the Second League for 2026–27, after a group of local people put the name back together as an amateur side.

The first version of the club, set up in 1969, had its own moment: the Football Cup of the Ukrainian SSR in 1988, decided on penalties against Zirka Berdychiv.

The revived club does not play in Lozova. Because of the war, home matches are held in Yuriivka, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, at the ground of the local children's and youth sports school, which seats 250. The old home, the Molodizhnyi stadium, stayed behind. Black and yellow remain the colours.

The professional debut has been hard. Through three matches in Group B of the Second League, Avanhard had one draw and two defeats.

The name most often attached to the club now is Oleksandr Gladky, who came back in 2024.
