USL League One's newest club spent its first full season proving it belonged, riding a strong regular-season run in 2025 into the playoffs before falling in the semi-final to One Knoxville SC, 0-1.

FC Naples only came together in January 2024, backed by Roberto Moreno , a former Zumba chief financial officer who had already put money into clubs in England, Belgium and Germany before turning to his own city.

The first goal in club history belongs to Andrés Ferrín , scored against Chattanooga on 8 March 2025 — a marker future seasons will be measured against.

The name most attached to that first season, though, is Karsen Henderlong .
