Osipovichy

Third-tier titles rarely get remembered anywhere, but Osipovichi's is the one fact the club's history keeps returning to: in 1997, playing as Svisloch-Kroylya, the side won the Third League and earned promotion. A year later it finished second in the First League, close enough to force its way up again — and in 1999 it reached the Vysshaya Liga, the top flight, for the only season the club has ever spent there. It finished second from bottom.

What followed was retreat rather than collapse. Eighth place in the First League in 2000 preceded relegation from the second tier at the end of 2001, and the club settled into the level it has occupied for most of its existence since. It took the name Osipovichi in 2002, having previously played as KRZ and Svisloch. A second-place finish in the Second League in 2016 brought one more promotion, but the return to the First League lasted a single season: fifteenth place, bottom of the table, and back down in 2017.

The Belarusian Cup has given the club its sharpest moments of exposure to the country's biggest sides. Osipovichi reached the last 16 twice, in 1999/2000 and again in 2023/24 — the second run ending 0-9 away to Dinamo Minsk.

Home games are played at Yunost, which holds 1,300, in front of colours that have earned the team the nickname Parovozy, the locomotives — a reference the town's railway junction makes obvious. The white-and-green kit has varied over the years, at one stage giving way to a green shirt with black trim, and further back to chequered black-and-white and to red-and-black.

The 2023 season produced one of the poorest campaigns in the club's history, five points from a full programme in the Second League. Two years on, a 2025 season that ended in seventeenth place kept Osipovichi in the First League only because the league's format changed — survival by rule amendment rather than results, and a reminder of how far the club still sits from the division it briefly reached in 1999.
