Paide III

Between 2018 and 2022 Paide Linnameeskond III dominated the North/East group of the II liiga. The reserve side won the division in 2018 and simply stayed on top of it for four more seasons. That title also carried them up to Esiliiga B.

The team had been built the year before, in 2017, as the third-string arm of Paide Linnameeskond, and its opening season doubled as a clean sweep: the III liiga Ida group, the Kolmanda liiga karikas after a 2:0 win over Pärnu JK Poseidon, and the Väike Karikas against JK Retro.

They play in blue and white, the colours passed straight down from the parent club, at the Paide kunstmuruväljak, a 542-seat artificial turf ground that took over from the old Paide linnastaadion once the first team moved out. There is no fixture here anyone would call a derby, just the recurring meetings with Järvamaa neighbours like FC Järva-Jaani and Türi Ganvix JK.

What Paide III has mostly produced is a conveyor belt rather than a roll of honour.
