Moscow Dynamo built out its junior hockey pipeline for the 2025/2026 Junior Hockey League season by putting a new team on the ice in Krasnogorsk. The club played its first match on September 5, 2025, and the debut season gave no room for illusions: two wins in regulation, two more in overtime or a shootout, and 54 defeats across 60 games left it bottom of the Silver Division in the Western Conference, ten points and no playoff football to speak of.

Dmitri Katayev takes charge as head coach for 2026/2027, with Alexander Vdovtsov wearing the captain's armband and Bogdan Kochkin as his assistant. The academy behind the shirt has produced names that carry further up the game, Nikita Soshnikov and Denis Davydov among them, though neither played for this particular team — the lineage runs through the Red Machine system rather than through Krasnogorsk itself.

Meetings with MHC Krylya Sovetov, Dynamo Moscow's own reserve side, and MHC Spartak MAX give the calendar its sharper fixtures, Moscow clubs testing a Moscow-region newcomer that has no long-standing enemy of its own yet — there has not been time to grow one. For the season ahead the club has dropped the hyphen from its name, rebranding as Krasnaya Mashina Yunior, and shifted its base to Balashikha to satisfy the league's infrastructure rules, leaving the Krasnogorsk Arena named after V.V. Petrov as a historical rather than a current home. What it has not yet done, in one season on the ice, is win anything at all.
