Santarritense

In 2012 Santarritense acquired a robot. The mascot was built to stand for Santa Rita do Sapucaí, a Minas Gerais town known as the "Valley of Electronics". The club is now "O Robô do Vale", the Robot of the Valley.

It holds no major state title. The closest it has come was 2021, when it reached the final hexagonal of the Segunda Divisão and did not win it.

The club's name carries more weight through the players it has produced. Roque Júnior, who won the 2002 World Cup with Brazil, is the name most closely tied to Santarritense. Kenedy, whose full name is Robert Kenedy Nunes do Nascimento, began at the club before moving to Chelsea. Augusto Recife is also associated with it. A club with a 3,500-seat municipal ground, the Estádio Municipal Coronel Erasmo Cabral, has therefore supplied a World Cup winner and a Chelsea signing.

The fixtures that matter most are local. Santarritense's rivals come from the Sul de Minas region, chiefly Jacutinga Futebol Clube and Atlético Clube de Três Corações, known as Atlético TC.
