Singida Fountain Gate

A works team fielded by Diamond Trust Bank in Singida in 2010, its players drawn from the bank's own staff, gave the club its first identity as DTB FC. Investors from the Singida region bought the side in 2022 and renamed it Singida Big Stars. A year later came a merger with the Fountain Gate academy, owned by Japhet Makau, and the club took the name Singida Fountain Gate FC; in 2024 that was trimmed to Fountain Gate FC.

Home matches are played at Liti Stadium, a ground in Singida also known locally as Namfua Stadium and Uhuru Stadium, holding 10,000 spectators. Across town, Singida Black Stars provide the closest rivalry the club has.

The bench has turned over quickly since the rebrand, with Ernst Middendorp among the coaches who have passed through.

On the pitch, Fountain Gate reached the final of the Mapinduzi Cup in 2023, losing 1-2 to Mlandege FC, and went out at the semi-final stage the following year. A run in CAF Cup qualifying in the 2023/24 season ended in the second round after the club had come through the first. The trophy cabinet remains empty.
