Tefik Canga

The Second League title in 2025 gave Tefik Çanga a first-round trip through the Cup, but it was the season just gone that turned into something else: a nigerian forward, John Idahor, scoring 15 goals and setting up 12 more in 30 matches, dragged a club that had spent decades in Kosovo's lower reaches to the top of the table and into the First League for the first time.

The club carries the name of Tefik Çanga, a local figure honoured in the naming rather than an anonymous place-marker, and it has done so since 1978. It plays out of Tërn, a village in the Ferizaj municipality, on a ground that holds 500 — the Tërn Sports Field, a pitch built to the scale of the village around it. White and grey remain the colours at home.

Promotion changes little about the size of the place Tefik Çanga plays in front of, but it puts the club in range of the sides drawn from Ferizaj itself, the town it has always stood just outside of rather than inside.
