Ufa

Ufa has already watched its basketball team fold once and come back under a different name. Ufimets, founded in 2012, climbed to the Super League, the second tier, and in 2019 won that division's title. By 2022 the money had run out. The club was excluded from the top tiers, and for a while the story looked finished.

It was not. Ufimets was not wound up. It was reorganised as a student team and entered the RZD Student League, and that kept the name alive while the bigger project was rebuilt around it. In 2024 the Dynamo sports society in the Republic of Bashkortostan set up a new professional club, Dynamo Ufa, and the old side became part of its system.

The new club carried several things over from its predecessor. The bee mascot came with it, and the colours are white and blue, often with turquoise accents. Its base is the Dynamo sports complex on ul. Karla Marksa.

The first season went the way the founders wanted. Dynamo Ufa won the Higher League, the third tier, in 2024/25. That took the city back up to the Super League for 2025/26, three years after Ufimets had dropped out of it.

The fixture that carries the most feeling is against Dynamo Grozny, known as the Dynamo Derby. Ufimets had its own local rival in BGATU, but that rivalry belonged to the earlier club.

The youth side, Dynamo-M, won the Evgeny Bogachev Cup in September 2026, so the cup is already on the club's shelf.
