Seven wins, two defeats and one draw were enough to top the Great Lakes Division, and Union Macomb Women conceded fewer goals than anyone else in it: eight. The Great Lakes Division Championship, won in 2026, was the first piece of silverware in the club's history. The run ended in the Central Conference Semifinals, where Minnesota Aurora FC beat them 2-0 on 3 July 2026 — the club's first playoff appearance stopping there.
The team was still finding its footing when that campaign began. The women's side had taken the field for its first competitive matches only in spring 2025, in the USL W League. A division title within a season of that first kickoff left the club with little precedent to measure it against.
Regional opponents such as Ann Arbor Women, Midwest United Women and Detroit City Women fill the schedule, though nothing among them has hardened yet into a rivalry with its own name.
Union Macomb Women play in black and gray, and their home is Barnabo Field at Romeo High School in Washington, Michigan — a ground borrowed from a school rather than built for a club.
