Camden Tigers were the side standing between UNSW FC and something to put on the wall. In the 2020 NPL 4 NSW grand final the under-20s beat them 2–0, and that remains the club's championship — won by teenagers, in a division that has since been renamed NSW League One. The senior men, playing the same season in the same division, finished without a title.

The club belongs to the University of New South Wales and plays out of Sydney's eastern suburbs, on the synthetic surface at Heffron Park in Maroubra. David Phillips Field at Daceyville has also had its turn as a home ground. Neither is the kind of venue that fills up; the pitch at Heffron is a public park surface, shared and booked, and the football is watched by people who came knowing where to stand.

Yellow shirts, black shorts, yellow socks for the senior sides. The goalkeepers go out in purple.

Little of the club's earlier life is settled. It has spent its time in the lower divisions of the New South Wales pyramid rather than the state's top tier, and the promotion that would put it there has not come. The 2020 title still stands alone, and it was won a level below the men.
