Vitoria U17

Rio Branco Atlético Clube is Vitória's principal rival, and matches between the two carry a name of their own: the Clássico Vi-Rio.

Vitória Futebol Clube was founded on 1 October 1912 in the city of Vitória, in Espírito Santo. It is a separate institution from EC Vitória of Salvador, in Bahia, a club it shares a name with and is often confused for. Supporters know the team as Águia Azul, the Blue Eagle, and it plays in blue and white.

The Sub-17 side belongs to the club's academy and has no separate legal status of its own. It did not take part in the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-17 between 2020 and 2024. Its title on record is the Campeonato Capixaba Sub-17, won in 2022.

Two names from the academy's past still carry weight: goalkeeper Paulo Victor, who made his debut in 1979, and defender Fontana, brought into the club's system in 1958 and, later, a Brazil international at the 1970 World Cup. In the current squad, Sezini and Carlos Vitor are the academy products drawing attention.

Home games are played at the Estádio Salvador Venâncio da Costa, called the Ninho da Águia — the Eagle's Nest — by supporters. Built between 1962 and 1965 and opened on 2 April 1967, it followed spells at the Campo do Stand, the Estádio de Zinco and the Estádio Governador Bley, and now holds around 5,800.
