KF Vjosa was formed in Shtime in 1985, and the Shtime Sports Complex — a ground holding 1,000 — has stayed its home ever since.
The club spent decades in the lower tiers of Kosovan football without much to show for it. That changed in the 2021/22 season, when Vjosa won the Second League: 71 points from 28 matches, 22 wins against a single defeat, a goal difference of 67 to 18.
Rivalries in this corner of Kosovan football tend to be drawn along town lines rather than history, and Vjosa's is no exception, though nothing about a merger or a move from another town — sometimes suggested in connection with nearby Suhareka — holds up. The club's story is Shtime's own, told at a ground where 1,000 seats is not a limitation so much as the point.
