Broughton's fixture that matters most is the trip across the county to face Connah's Quay Nomads. Buckley Town, Holywell Town and Cefn Druids fill out the rivalry list.

The factory floor is not a figure of speech here. Airbus UK Broughton were founded in 1946 as the works team for the Vickers-Armstrong plant, the same site that later passed through de Havilland, Hawker Siddeley, British Aerospace and BAE Systems before Airbus took control in 2000, when the club adopted its current name. The Wingmakers, after the aircraft wings built on site, and the team still plays within sight of the factory that gave rise to it.

Trophies have tended to arrive in pairs. The club won the Cymru Alliance twice, in 2003/04 and again in 2018/19. More recently the Welsh Blood Service League Cup and the NEWFA Challenge Cup were won in back-to-back seasons, 2024/25 and 2025/26, alongside a Cymru North title in 2021/22.

Jake Cassidy came through the club's own ranks before moving into Wales youth football and on to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
