Czech Cup (Czechia) 2025/26

The **Czech Handball Cup** serves as the primary knockout tournament for handball within the Czech Republic. Organized by the Czech Handball Federation (Český svaz házené), the competition operates as a secondary domestic trophy to the top-tier league.

The structure follows a single-elimination path. Lower-division sides from the 1. liga, 2. liga, and regional leagues enter early, battling through preliminary rounds to reach the Round of 16. There they meet clubs from the elite division. The remaining eight teams proceed to the Quarter-finals and Semi-finals. The campaign concludes at a "Final Four" venue, where the last four contenders play two days of matches for the semi-finals, final, and third-place contest.

In the Men's division, HC Dukla Praha held early dominance, securing the first eight consecutive titles between 1994 and 2001. More recently, HCB Karviná has emerged as the leading force, claiming nine titles in the modern era. They entered the 2025 season as the reigning champions after defeating HC ROBE Zubří. Other notable Men's winners include 1. NH Brno and SSK Talent Plzeň.

The Women's competition is dominated by DHK Baník Most. They have won the cup ten times, stretching from 2013/14 through 2015/16 and again from 2017/18 through 2023/24. DHC Sokol Poruba claimed the title once in 2016/17. DHK Baník Most remains the current Women's holder heading into the new season.

Clubs such as Velka Bystrice, Holesov, Roznov, Telnice, and DHC Plzen participate in the national cup fixtures. The event provides a distinct pathway from regional play to the national stage, separate from the standard league format.
