Braian Miguel Ángel Martínez

They call him "Chaco," a nod to the province where he was born. He came through the youth ranks at Independiente and signed his first professional contract there in August 2019, making his senior debut against River Plate in January 2020. He stuck around long enough to rack up roughly 64 league appearances in Buenos Aires before Independiente sent him out on loan, first to Aldosivi in 2022, where he played 29 times and scored once.

The move that reshaped his career came in January 2024, when he joined Everton de Viña del Mar on loan. He responded with 14 league appearances and four goals, a productive run cut short in June 2024 by a serious knee injury that kept him out for around eight months. He came back only to be loaned out again, this time to Tigre in June 2025, where he added 13 appearances and two goals. Chile, though, has clearly left its mark on him: in January 2026 he returned to Everton on a fresh loan from Independiente, running through the end of that year. Along the way, Colo-Colo reportedly tabled an offer worth $250,000 for a loan with an option to buy, but Martínez chose Everton instead.

He plays right-footed despite spending much of his career drifting to the left flank. He has not collected any major titles or individual honours, and has not been capped by Argentina at any level.
