Ajman Club came together in the emirate of the same name in the mid-1970s. It was formally registered on 5 November 1974.
The club plays in orange, the colour that has marked its home kit since those early years, with white reserved for away matches. Its ground, Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Stadium, holds 5,141.
Its one major domestic trophy came early: the UAE President's Cup in the 1983/84 season. The rest of the cabinet has filled in more recent decades — the Etisalat Emirates Cup in 2013, the Vice President's Cup in 2011, and two promotions won as First Division champions, in 2010/11 and again in 2016/17.
The run to the 2013 Emirates Cup title is where two names still surface. Boris Kapi and Fonneki Si both scored in the final, and the coach who put that side together, Abdel Wahab Abdel Kader, is remembered at Ajman.
