Sibir Edge Amur for First Win of KHL Season
Goals from Pavel Tyutnev and Sergei Popov gave Sibir a 2:0 win over Amur in Novosibirsk, ending a two-game losing start to the season.
Sibir beat Amur 2:0 at Sibir Arena in Novosibirsk on 10 September, their first win of the KHL 2026/27 season.
Both sides went scoreless through two periods. Pavel Tyutnev and Sergei Popov broke the deadlock in the third.
The result came after two straight defeats to open the campaign and lifted Sibir to 7th place in the Eastern Conference. Amur remain 10th in the East on a single point.
Sibir travel to face Avtomobilist on 13 September. Amur play Barys a day earlier.
