Adin Tihic

Adin Tihic came through Värnamo's own footballing pipeline, joining IFK Värnamo's academy in 2023 and working his way up through the P17 and P19 sides. He trained regularly with the senior squad and was named in the matchday squad for six Allsvenskan fixtures in 2025, including a game against IFK Göteborg, without making his senior debut for the club. That grounding also earned him a place in Sweden's U17 setup, where he collected three caps.

In the summer of 2025, with his development at a plateau in terms of first-team minutes, Tihic went on trial with GAIS and had also spent time with the Portuguese side Famalicão. The move to GAIS eventually came together: he signed as a free agent, with the transfer taking effect from the start of 2026, on a two-year youth deal running to the end of 2027. No fee changed hands for a goalkeeper.

For now, Tihic's career reads as one of promise built inside a club's own structures rather than one measured in trophies.
