Oscar Hans Pettersson

Oscar Hans Pettersson made his senior debut for Djurgårdens IF in 2019 and was part of the squad that won the Allsvenskan title that year, though his own involvement was limited to six league appearances. A loan to Akropolis IF followed, where he scored four goals in 13 games before signing permanently in early 2021. That spell was interrupted in May 2021 when he was diagnosed with myocarditis and had to stop playing for four and a half months.

He returned to fitness and joined IF Brommapojkarna on a free transfer in December 2021, where 15 goals in 30 Superettan appearances in 2022 helped the club win the league and secure promotion, and he followed that with nine goals in 30 Allsvenskan games the following season. That run of form took him to IFK Göteborg in February 2024, where he scored three goals in 35 appearances, and then joining Go Ahead Eagles in the Netherlands for a fee of €350,000. He was part of the squad that won the KNVB Cup that season, though he did not feature in the final against AZ Alkmaar, making just one cup appearance for the club. Playing time proved hard to come by, and his contract was terminated by mutual consent in March 2026.

He returned to Sweden immediately, signing a four-year deal with GAIS. Internationally, Pettersson represented Sweden at U17 level before earning his first senior cap in a friendly win against Estonia in January 2024.
