Hampus Sjogund

Hampus Skoglund's route to Hammarby IF's first team ran through the club's own development pipeline rather than a transfer market splash. He came up through IK Frej in Täby before moving to Hammarby's youth academy on a free transfer in January 2022, then spent 2023 out on loan-like duty with the farm side Hammarby TFF in Ettan Norra, where he made 13 appearances and scored once. That season in the lower tier proved to be the platform he needed: in March 2024 the club rewarded him with a four-year contract for the senior squad, and he made his Allsvenskan debut the same year.

Since then, Skoglund has become a regular fixture for Hammarby, passing 73 appearances for the first team.

Internationally, Skoglund has represented Sweden at Under-21 level, collecting 15 caps and a goal for the age-group side. He has not won a major trophy with Hammarby, and the club has not landed the Allsvenskan title or the Svenska Cupen during his time in the squad — his career so far has been built on consistent appearances rather than silverware.
