About the player
William Milovanovic came up through Häcken's academy after starting out at IF Warta and Eriksbergs IF in Gothenburg. A move abroad followed: a free transfer to FC Koper in Slovenia's Prva Liga, though it brought only a handful of appearances, and by August 2023 he was back at Utsiktens BK, this time scoring three goals in eleven Superettan matches.
GAIS signed him on a free transfer in January 2024, and he repaid that with his first Allsvenskan goal that May, against his old club Häcken in a 3–0 win.
Milovanovic has Serbian heritage but has represented Sweden at youth level, playing for the under-16s and under-17s and featuring at the 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
