FC Levadia

A backers' group trading under the name Levadia took over sponsorship of Olümp Maardu, a modest club in the industrial town east of Tallinn, in October 1998. A merger the following year, with Tallinna Sadam, gave the side its first shape under that identity, FC Levadia Maardu. The club left Maardu at the turn of 2004, moved into the capital and became FC Levadia Tallinn. A further merger, with FCI Tallinn in December 2017, set the name it carries now: FCI Levadia.

Green and white make up the colours, and the green points back to the meaning of the name itself, which traces to words for meadow in Ukrainian and Greek. Since 2019, home matches have been played at the A. Le Coq Arena, also known as Lilleküla Stadium, which holds 14,336.

Eleven Estonian championships now sit in the club's history.

The fixture that draws the most attention is against FC Flora, the Tallinn Derby, contested by the two clubs that between them account for most of Estonia's national titles. It once carried an ethnic reading — Levadia taken as the team of the city's Russian-speaking population, Flora as the Estonian one. Levadia's own following organises as the Levadia Ultras, also known as the White Green Supporters.
