Krosno

In 2015/2016 the team had already gone up the same way, beating Legia Warszawa in the playoffs, and Michał Baran was the coach who took them there.

The name Miasto Szkła — Glass City — comes from Krosno's history as a centre of glassmaking, and the club has carried it alongside the more official KKK MOSiR Krosno since it grew out of a MOSiR application to enter the third division in 2000. Promotion has run through the club's story in stages: the II Liga title in 2010/2011, won past AZS AWF Katowice and Polonia Przemyśl, opened the door to the I Liga, where a runners-up finish behind Śląsk Wrocław followed in 2012/2013 and two bronze-medal seasons came after that.

Dariusz Oczkowicz, known as "Orka," has been at the club since 2004 and was named I Liga MVP in the 2016 promotion season.

Krosno's fiercest matches come against Rawlplug Sokół Łańcut, the two sides meeting in what is known locally as the Derby Podkarpacia.
