Völkermarkt

The closest VST Völkermarkt has come to a Kärntner Liga title arrived in 2017/18, when the club finished second, a single point behind champions FC Lendorf. Three years earlier the gap was wider but the placing the same: runners-up in 2014/15, four points adrift of SC St. Stefan/Lavantal. A third-place finish back in 2008/09 rounds out the club's record in Carinthia's top regional flight.

The team now sits under the ASVÖ federation and the Kärntner Fußballverband, playing in green and white at the Lilienberg-Arena, a 1,500-capacity ground on Sportplatzstraße.

The clearest export from the youth ranks is Adis Jašić, who came through at Völkermarkt in 2015 and 2016 before moving on to Wolfsberger AC's academy and turning professional. Veit, along with regular meetings with FC Lendorf and ATSV Wolfsberg in the regional programme.
