BSK Banja Luka beat Čelik 3:2 in the Premier League's sixth round on Saturday. The hosts recovered from two goals down to take all three points at home.
A. Hrvanovic gave the home side the lead in the twenty-eighth minute. Čelik turned things around quickly, with D. Cavic scoring twice in three minutes after the break. The defender struck in the fifty-first and fifty-third minutes to put the visitors in front.
BSK refused to lie down. O. Radosevic pulled one back in the seventy-third minute, and D. Sijamija restored the lead eight minutes later. The match carried on with both sides searching for more.
Substitutions came thick and fast in the second half. Čelik brought on B. Jenjic and F. Gogic in the seventy-fifth minute, while BSK responded with B. Eric in the seventy-ninth. N. Keranovic added a late goal for Banja Luka in the ninety-second minute, though it made no difference to the result.
The statistics told a familiar story. BSK dominated possession at 57 per cent and created 88 attacks compared to Čelik's 64. But the visitors were far more clinical, hitting the target five times from five shots on target, while the hosts had eleven attempts on goal and only converted three.
The victory moves BSK to seven points in the table. They sit seventh after six matches, with two wins and four defeats. Čelik remain in eighth place on four points, one win and one draw from the same number of games.
