Keçireren Gücü and Yumraniyespor Share Points in 2:2 Draw
Keçireren Gücü hosted Yumraniyespor at Aktepe Stadium on Thursday evening and the match ended 2:2 after a back-and-forth contest. The hosts took the lead through their own captain but Yumraniyespor responded quickly before Keçireren Gücü regained control. By then the match had settled into a rhythm where both sides could score. The opening moment came almost immediately when Oğuzcan Çalışkan turned against his own side in the first minute. Álex Blanco equalised for the visitors eleven minutes in, but Çalışkan found the net himself thirty-four minutes from the start of the second half. Mame Biram Diouf added a late goal in the seventy-first minute to put the hosts ahead before the visitors salvaged a point. To be fair, the match was punctuated by several changes. Both teams made three substitutions each, with the first pair coming at the break and the rest spread across the second half. Serkan Göksu was withdrawn for Yumraniyespor in the fifty-fourth minute, while Keçireren Gücü brought on Diouf and Ezeh in the closing stages. The statistics show Keçireren Gücü dominated possession at 51 per cent and created more chances. They registered 120 attacks compared to 96 for the visitors, and their shot accuracy of 31 per cent was notably higher than Yumraniyespor's 23 per cent. Eight shots on target yielded two goals for the hosts, while three on target produced one goal for the visitors. And here's the thing — the visitors were more efficient despite fewer opportunities.
Discipline was mixed throughout the ninety minutes. Keçireren Gücü collected three yellow cards through Akdağ, Yıldırım and another unnamed player, while Yumraniyespor received bookings from Göksu, Yıldırım, Keskin, Babacan and Satılmış. The hosts had two offsides and the visitors two, with both sides committing roughly similar numbers of fouls — 18 and 10 respectively.
The result keeps both teams in mid-table without moving either side significantly. Keçireren Gücü remain tenth with five points from four matches, while Yumraniyespor sit fourteenth with three points. The hosts extend their unbeaten run to four games, though they have lost one of those encounters. Yumraniyespor have now drawn three of their four matches and yet to find a victory this season.
